Curriculum Intent

We believe that to embrace the challenges ofcreating a happy and successful adult life, pupils need knowledge that willenable them to make informed decisions about their wellbeing, health andrelationships, and to build their self-efficacy.

Students can put this knowledge into practiceas they develop the capacity to make sound decisions when facing risks, challenges and complex contexts. Everyone faces difficult situations in theirlives. PSHE learning is designed to support young people to develop resilience,to know how and when to ask for help, and to know where to access support.

Our PSHE curriculum offersstudents the opportunity to explore key themes about their own development andthe wider world.
