In preparation for their GCSE Literature exam, many of our Year 11s enjoyed an excellent production of Macbeth at Shakespeare's Globe. Seeing the play in an immersive way, with the witches running through the crowd, was exciting, and students found parts of the show quite funny (of course, being Macbeth, this was balanced with some rather gory scenes too!). It was a great opportunity to see how the play we studied, originally set in the early 17th Century, has been adapted for a more modern audience.
