Y13 Biologists attended the residential field trip at the FSC Centre Juniper Hall in Surrey. They completed a large portion of their A-level coursework and had the opportunity to work outside, sampling a variety of plant and animal species. Tom and Gaia successfully trapped woodmice (humanely) before releasing them back into the woods. We were also treated to a sighting of a slow worm, newts, dragonflies, and stag beetle larvae.
