There were four inspiring maths speakers, exploring the weaknesses of ChatGPT, the mathematics of crowds, the maths of gambling (a largely cautionary tale!) and even some live music.

The students had a fantastic time and behaved impeccably. One Charter student contributed to the Q&A with the question "would you rather eat 7 rubbers every day, or 1 tyre a month"…the mathematicians pondered this conundrum at length!
